How to donate 

You may use the downloadable FORM to make a donation to Transhaven Projects. Australian dollars are shown on the form but can be converted to other currencies for non-Australian users by using the Universal Currency Converter at the bottom of this page.

Please make out your donations by cheque or money order for the TSP, to RAWCS Overseas Aid Fund and mail them to:

Please include your return postal address if you require a tax deductible receipt. The donations will be forwarded to the National Treasurer of RAWCS who will send a receipt to the donor that can be used for tax deductibility. Thank you!

Tax status

TAX DEDUCTIBILITY is now available through the Rotary Australian World Community Services (RAWCS) organisation of the Rotary organisation for Australian tax payers donating to the Transhaven Schools Projects. Donations can also be made to the "Transhaven Schools Projects" for donors or sponsors not requiring or eligible for tax deductibility.

What you can donate funds for

We can accept donations of any size. Listed below are some of the key items we need to provide for the students and staff. 

$3 to $5 will buy a fruit tree for the agricultural projects  
$20 will buy a simple calculator plus note books and pens
$10 will buy 25 exercise books for the students$15 to $30 will buy other subject text books 
$12 will buy an English text book - the most important subject
$30 will buy a single desk
$12 will buy a Chichewa text book - the other national language
$40 will buy a double desk
$15 will buy a Bible for religious studies$90 will buy a wheelbarrow
$18 will buy a hoe or a shovel for the agricultural projects$150 to $180 will buy a bicycle for a teacher
$18 upwards for a scientific calculator
